IPRS established the Student Chapter programme in 2012 to support and nurture the next generation of communicators with the following guiding objectives:
- To provide a valuable service to the student community by extending access to IPRS activities and programs.
- To provide a channel for marketing/ business/ journalism and Public Relations students to network with PR professionals and help them to gain first-hand, real-world experiences from the industry.
- To foster Student-IPRS collaborations in areas of communication media, symposia and learning forums.
Members of the Chapter are entitled to become 'Student Members' of IPRS for as long as they are enrolled in their schools. Student Members enjoy similar benefits as IPRS Affiliate Members with the exception of voting and standing for elections.
With the launch of the first chapter, the IPRS Temasek Student Chapter, the programmme has grown nine chapters with tietiary institutions for students studying in the PR and Communication-related courses.
Please reach out to the IPRS Secretariat via our Contact Form if you wish to enquire about setting up a Student Chapter.
